We’re the Great Britain's only partner to Burnblock®. We offer a 100% natural fire retardant timber treatment service for timber and wood-based panels.

Send us your material to treat 01

We have a long list of species that we can treat from solid timber to wood based panels. We offer full documentation and certification with each treatment.

We treat & kiln dry your material 02

Once your material is on site, we schedule the material to be treated in the high-pressure autoclave. Once treated, we kiln dry to specified moisture levels.

Collect or we can deliver your material with documentation back to you 03

After the kilning process is complete, we wrap your material back up and notify you it's ready for collection. For each treated material pack, we send a Declaration of Performance, a Constancy of Performance and a Fire Classification Report.

Specifying certified, sustainable peace of mind

Euroclass System

Our treated timber meets Euroclass B s1, d0. This is the equivalent to Class 0 in BS476. We encourage use of the Euroclass system over BS476. Class 0 primarily focuses on surface spread of flame and smoke production, neglecting other critical aspects of fire behaviour. This narrow focus can lead to gaps in fire safety measures and may not accurately reflect real-world fire scenarios.

Cradle to Cradle Certified®

The Burnblock® powder used in our FireWright treatment is Cradle to Cradle Certified®. Part of the sustainability certification includes a status for Material Health. For this, Burnblock has chosen to be certified according to version 4.0, which has stricter requirements than version 3.1. Despite of the stricter requirements, the certification includes a Gold status for Material Health.

Impregnation Service

FireWright® treatment is an impregnation service, we use a high-pressure autoclave to impregnate our treatment into the cell structure of the timber. This provides treatment for the duration of the healthy timber's life.
